Madelean "Jeanette" Holly Lyons, 92 of Elizabethton went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 28, 2026. She was born in Elizabethton on April 22, 1933, to the late Eugene & Mae Farmer Holly. She was a 1952 graduate of Elizabethton High School. After high school she married Bill Virgil Lyons who passed away September 4, 2020. After marrying Bill they moved to Annapolis, Maryland where they lived 40 years, returning to Elizabethton, and lived the last 32 years.

Jeanette was a member of the Lady of Elks, Annapolis, Maryland and was a member of the First Church of God in Elizabethton. She will be remembered for her gracious giving, vibrant personality, and a smile those who knew her will hold in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Her greatest joy was her family and friends.

Survivors include her Daughters: Billie (Jim) Dabbondanza, and Sissy (Tom) Hargadon, her Grandchildren: Rickey (Tiffany) Tang, and Kristen (Jeff) Trapp, her Great Grandchildren: Aleigha Trapp, Adrienne Trapp, Mack Tang and Luke Tang.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 212 N. Main Street, Elizabethton, followed by a Graveside Service at 2 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City with Pastors Bob Shupe, Tim Holder and Chris Anderson officiating. Active Pallbearers will be: Rickey Tang, Jim Dabbondaza, Tom Hargadon, Eddie Holly, Tom Clawson and Jeff Trapp. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Friday.
