Loretta Alice Range, 88, Erwin, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at her residence. She was born June 12, 1937 in Elizabethton to the late McKinley and Ruby Simerly Potter. Loretta was a 1955 graduate of Elizabethton High School and attended Milligan College. She was retired from the Transcriptionist Department after 25 years at the Johnson City Medical Center. She loved cooking. She was a member of the Valley Forge Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Rupert Henry Range and a sister: Martha Hardin.

Survivors include A Son: Mike Range and a daughter and son-in-law: Kathy & Chuck Foster. Four  Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025 in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park with David Siebenaler, Minister officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be her church family. Family and friends will assemble at the Mausoleum at 2:15 p.m. Friday.
