Lora was a graduate of Elizabethton High School, where she was a member of the Betsy Band. She found joy in cross-stitching and took pride in the time and love she put into each creation that will be treasured for years to come.
Most of all, Lora will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the place that she held in the hearts of so many. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Honey and Mamaw), daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and Pod. The family would like to offer a special thank you to her nurses, Catalina Adams, Debbie Carden, N.P. Terri Colson and R.N. Phil Stover, for the compassionate care, kindness and support they provided to Lora and our family.
Graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the Grindstaff Cemetery with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating.
