Leonard Don English, 73, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 at his residence. He was born February 9, 1951 in Mars Hill, North Carolina to the late Leonard & Eileen Pitman English. He was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and attended East Tennessee State University. He served in the United States Navy. He was a Construction Worker and Carpenter until his retirement. He loved to hunt , fish and loved studying native American History. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Jim English.

Survivors include his sister: Brenda Lewis, Johnson City and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2024 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Monday. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
