Lenville Truman Dugger, Sr., age 95, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2026, in Johnson City Medical Center. Born on February 24, 1930, Len lived a long and full life marked by faith, family and perseverance. He was preceded in death by his parents, Breamer and Polly Dugger, his son, Len Dugger, Jr. his grandson, Skylar Dugger, and his siblings Martha Dugger Harmon, Eula Dugger Harmon, Milton Dugger, Margie Dugger McGuire, R.L. Dugger, Elmer Dugger, Earl Dugger and Freeman Dugger.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Bailey Dugger; daughter-in-law Diane Dugger; stepdaughter Lisa Miller and husband Larry Miller, stepson Michael Bailey and his wife Yody Bailey, grandchildren Caitlin and Seth McGrady, Caroline and Julian Ivy, and Carissa Bailey, and great-granddaughter Serenity Dugger. He is also survived by his brother, Dewey Dugger. Len grew up in Carter County, where he learned the value of hard work at an early age. A skilled mechanic by trade, he spent his life working with his hands, fixing what was broking. One of his greatest accomplishments--and a point of pride--was living to the age of 95, just shy of his 96th birthday.

He was a faithful member of Word of Life Church for as long as his health allowed and lived his life grounded in Christian faith. Len enjoyed watching basketball, especially because of his close connection to the sport through his family. Known for his sense of humor, he often joked about having "possum for dinner," a comment that always brought smiles and laughter to those around him. Above all, Len will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, and a man whose life reflected quiet faith, loyalty to family and steady perseverance. His legacy lives on through the generations he loved and the example he set.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in the Rittertown Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Donny Reagan officiating. The family will receive friends at Memorial Funeral Chapel,  from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the graveside service. Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews.
