Lawrence "Pat" Smith age 85, Johnson City, went home to be with his Lord Sunday, January 11, 2026, at his residence. Pat was born in Bluff City, April 30, 1940, to the late James & Verna Perry Smith. He was a graduate of Bluff City High School. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church. He retired from Tennessee Eastman after 29 years of service.

Survivors include his Two Sons: Mark Smith and Todd Smith. Three Brothers: Bud Smith, Lonnie (Rose) Smith and Ivan (Brenda) Smith. Two Sisters-In-Law: Patsy (Bernard) Leonard, Janice (David) Whitaker. One Brother-In-Law: Gordon (Rose Lee) Lewis., Sister-in-Law: Judy Lewis and the late Robert Lewis. Several nieces & nephews.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Happy Valley Memorial Paark with Pastor Dr. Alan King officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
