Lakie Jean Strode, 69, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, May 04, 2023 at her daughter's residence. She was born in Johnson City to the late Marion C. Frazier, Jr and Ruby Ruth Smithpeters Frazier. She was also preceded in death by her husband Kelvin Strode and a sister, Crecie Modi. She was a homemaker and loved to do extreme couponing and playing games.

Survivors include her children: Pamela (Delaney) Scalf, and Frank (Angela) Frazier; her grandchildren: Cody Scalf, J.D. Scalf, Mindy Colon, Corey Scalf, Tyler Scalf, Madison Scalf, Heather Frazier, Brandon Frazier, Amber Frazier and Brittany Collins; and 14 Great Grandchildren; brother: Buford Frazier; step-father: Bobby Carder and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends: Christy and Bobby Dickerson and Samantha Dickerson(like a granddaughter).

A Service will be held on Tuesday, May 09, 2023 at 7 p.m. at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Hampton, Tn with Pastor Brandon Young, officiating and music provided by the church and granddaughter, Amber Frazier, soloist. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 12 Noon Wednesday May 10, 2023 at Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday .
