Katie S. Williams, 97, of Elizabethton passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital, surrounded by her close family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Clint Williams, daughter: Tonya Ann Smith, sisters: Marie Hodge and Charlotte Hope Sheppard.

She is survived by her son: Phil McQueen and wife Joann of Johnson City, grandchildren: Heather Smith and special friend Jimmy Hayes, Harry Smith III and wife Heather, Rena Smith Askew and very special nephew: Jerry Potter and wife Linda. Great Grandchildren: Hannah Askew and Dylan Smith also survive.

Graveside Service for Katie will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 In Happy Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Heart Association. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
