Karen Regina Fields, 66, Roan Mountain, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at her residence. She was born November 14, 1958 to the late Walter William and Geneva Arnold Vance. She was a homemaker who was fond of cleaning. She loved sewing, fishing on the water, and playing games. She was an avid animal lover, as she had many dogs over the years. In earlier years, she attended Lewis Chapel Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Robert "Dean" Fields and a sister: Patricia Doty.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years: Eddie Fields, the love of her life. Three Sisters: Sandy Vance, Donna Banner and husband Gary, and Pam Vance and fiance Bobby Clouser. Two Granddaughters: Kaylen Fields and Karah Fields. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025 in the Fields Family Cemetery. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the Lower Shell Creek Christain Church will be: Dallas Birchfield, Fred Fields, R.T Fields, Shaun Fields, Ricky Ledford, Dylan "Bob" Fields and Cecil Fields. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bobby Clouser, Scott Banner, Gary Banner and Rick Fields. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Lower Shell Creek Christian Church.
