This house of flesh is but a prison, bars of bone, hold my soul. But the doors of clay are gonna burst wide open when the angels set my spirit free. I'll take my flight like a mighty eagle, when the hills of home, start calling me.

Judy Kathryn Bouton (70), Johnson City, TN went home to be with The Lord on Friday, October 10, 2025. Born August 25, 1955, in Carter County TN, to Thomas George Little Sr. and Mildred Pauline Lewis Little. She was the youngest of 7 children.

Preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mildred Little, her sisters Nora "Janice" Lambert, Elizabeth "Gayle" Loveless and Shelby Frye.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Michael L. Bouton, her daughters Kristy (John) Johnson, and Micah (Mitchell) Aschinger. Her Grandchildren who were her whole world Mikala Vazquez, Kalee Johnson and Michael Aschinger. Her Great Granddaughters who were the light of her life Violeta Vazquez and Kaitlynn Poore. She is also survived by her brother Thomas G. Little Hampton, sister Shirley Roach, Elizabethton, sister Debby Maddox Johnson City, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Retired from Kennametal of Johnson City, where she made lifelong friends. Judy loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She enjoyed working in her flowers, traveling and adventuring with her girls and sisters. She especially loved family gatherings and being with her nieces and nephews. Being a Mama and a Granny was one of her greatest joys. She loved her family fiercely. She loved her "Baby Girls" and her "Favorite Grandson". Judy attended Zion Baptist Church in Elizabethton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday October 17th at Zion Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00, with the service beginning at 7:00 PM. The Rev Sherrell Nave and Dr. D. Alan King officiating. Ronnie and Bruce Hall will provide music and Thomas G. Little will provide the closing prayer for his baby sister. Honorary Pall Bearers will be John Johnson, Mitchell Aschinger, Michael Aschinger, Ricky Woodby, Bass Jackson, Steve Shupe and Judy's nephews.

The family would like to extend a special, "Thank You" to Dr. Sheryl Pack, and Latoya for their loving care of Judy, and her nephew James Loveless (Jayson) who provided medical assistance and was a source of knowledge and strength throughout her illness.

Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Bouton Family.
