Joyce Lynn Bunton,70, Elizabethton passed away peacefully Friday May 1, 2026 at the Johnson City Medical Center with her daughter Angela by her side and now she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born June 14, 1955 in Elizabethton to the late Dennis and Wilma Norris Bunton. She was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. In her earlier life she was a CNA and Care Giver. In her earlier years she was a member of the Blue Ridge Job Corp. She loved to go shopping and go to yard sales. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Denise Schilling.

Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law: Angela & Danny McClaskey, Elizabethton. Two Grandchildren: Arianna Smith and Hunter McClaskey. Four Great Grandchildren: Dustin, Walker, Mason and Elijah. One Niece and Nephew: Todd Bowling and Taylor McKinney. Her special friends; Bendetta, Cindy and Phyllis. Also a host of family and friends.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, May 8, 202 6 in the Norris Cemetery, Butler with Pastor Ronnie Campbell officiating. Active Pallbearers will be: Danny McClaskey, Hunter McClaskey, Todd Bowling, Morgan McKinney, Matt Goldberg and Mike Orr. The family would like to express a special thank you to Hospice Nurse Summer, her care giver Phyllis Winchester and the staff & Nurses at Johnson City Medical Center.
