John B "JB". Pierce, Jr., 69, Elizabethton, passed awayTuesday, June 4, 2024 in the Bristol Regional Hospital. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late John B. Pierce, Sr & Viola Sluder Pierce. He was a graduate of Unaka High School and East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. JB loved music, traveling and reading. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Edgar Pierce. and two Sisters: Nellie Grant and husband Bill, Wanda Johnson husband Gus. Half Sisters: Akard Buckles , Johnnie Estep, and Maude O'Neal.

Survivors include his Wife: Tracy Hinkle Pierce, Two Sisters: Naomi (Bill) Jones and Margie (Melvin) Lodge. Two Step-Sons: Matt Barnhouse and Alex Schantz .one Sister-In-Law: Joyce Pierce.

It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned
