Joe Lynn Henson, 66, Chuckey passed away Friday January 5, 2024 in the Signature Health, Elizabethton. He was born January 6, 1957 in Johnson City to the late William & Mary McIntosh Henson. Joe was disabled since birth  but he loved to watch Andy Griffith and ME TV. He also loved to play basketball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Gary Davenport and a sister: Mary Ruth Overman. In earlier years before he moved, he attended Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister: Virginia Arnold ^& husband Larry, Piney Flats. A Nephews & his wife: Tony & Tawnya Davenport and their son, Austin, A nephew Jeffrey Arnold and several other nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Interment of the cremains will be with his parents at a later date in Mountain Home National Cemetery.
