Jerald Henry Powell, 59, Roan Mountain, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born August 9, 1965 in Banner Elk, North Carolina. He was a graduate of Cloudland High School. Jerald was a Carpenter. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his father: William Henry Powell and a brother: Jeff Powell.

Survivors include his Mother: Clairece Palmer Powell. Two Children: Tiffany (Thomas) Parker and Christopher Powell. Five Grandchildren: Jayden Powell,(Arianna) Parker, Kayliana Parker, Gabriel Parker and Elijah Parker. A Brother: Jerome (Lori) Powell and a sister: Jean (Rodney) Payne. A Sister-in-Law: Tonya Powell. Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2025 in the Johnson-Roan View Cemetery, Roan Mountain with Pastor Gary Whitehead officiating.
