Jeff K. Hyder, 60, Hampton, passed away after an extended illness surrounded by his family. Jeff enjoyed watching UT football, fishing, farming and cooking. Jeff is preceded in death by his father Kyle Hyder, Grandparents: Daunt and Lucille Hyder and Joe and Myrtle Willis.

Survivors include: Eddie Hyder, Mother; Daughters: Lacey (Jacob) Rucker, Lindsay (Jordan) Vance, and Lauren Hyder; Grandchildren: James Whaley, Wyatt Rucker, Bradley Rucker; Sister Diane Hyder and Kay Hardin his companion.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Chapel. The family asks that all that attend please wear Tennessee Vols Attire.  The service will begin at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Lou Miller, Officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 at Hyder Family Cemetery on Jack Tolley Rd. in Hampton. Family and Friends need to meet at the Funeral Chapel to go in procession at 10:30 a.m. Active Pallbearers will be Jordan Vance, Kelly Honeycutt, Eddie "Ax" Blackwell, Rick Moffitt, Steve Falin, Jeff Feathers, Gary Jenkins and Mick Kyte. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jacob Rucker, Myron Hyder, Woody Lyons, Carl Harrison, Dayton Morrell and the Hampton Class of 1982.
