Janet "Jan" Darlene Fritz, 69, Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord, Friday September 22, 2024 at her residence. Jan was born December 2, 1954 in Johnson City to the late John and Pearl Hyder.

Jan was retired from Dawn Of Hope where she worked as a sitter, she was a member of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church.

Along with her parents Jan is preceded in death by her husband, William Fritz as well as three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her son: John Jamison (Kaitlynn); grandchildren, Elizabeth Jamison, Kayelyn, Breanna, and Natalie Trew; brother, Wayne Fleenor.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Elizabethton from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Elizabethton, with Father Dustin Collins officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral mass at Little Cemetery.
