James J. Collins, 65, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born January 30, 1958 in Johnson City to the late James Franklin. He was employed in the Maintenance Department of TPI. James loved camping, fishing, riding his Motorcycle and Peanut Butter and Mayonnaise sandwiches. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years: Linda Campbell Collins. His mother Pauline Bennett Collins.  Eight Children: Christy (Dustin) Hurley, Jason Collins, Joshua Collins, Tina (Roger) Julian, Jacob (Brittany) Collins, Isaac (Maleah) Collins, Nathan Collins and Tierra Collins. Several Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren. His Siblings: Faye Walker, Randy Collins, Donald (Mitzi) Collins, Angie Collins, Steve Collins and Stacy (John) Malone. Several nieces and nephews. Two Brothers-in-Law: Tim Campbell and Randy Campbell. His special friends: Bobby Pritchard and wife Rita.
