James B. Ellis, 61, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1964 in Carter County to the late James Norman and Nina Ruth Williams Ellis. He was retired as a Transportation Manager with CSX. He was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Ellis.

Survivors include his son: James Ellis. Two Grandchildren Charlotte Mae Ellis and Millie Jo Ellis. One Sister: Regina Isaacs.

It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
