I rene D. Carrier, 82, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 in the Hermitage Health Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Isaac T. & Ama Williams Davis. Irene was a Beautician for sixty years. . She loved working in flowers and helping people. She was a member of Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parent, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 ½ , years Dallas Carrier, One Brother: Donald Davis and One Sister: Doris Campbell. Two Nephews: Keith Carrier and Timmy Taylor.

She was a Granny to many children; Survivors include her nieces & nephews: Scott Davis, Waco Davis, Dereck Campbell, DeeAnna Hall and nieces & nephews on the Carrier Side: Jennifer Estep, Debbie Perry, Paula Davis, Benjamin Taylor, Sharon Lingerfelt, Porky Lingerfelt, Rhonda Carrier, Andrea Carrier, Joey Carrier, Bridget Carrier, Joseph Carrier, Crystal Carrier, Brandon Carrier and several great nieces & nephews. A special great niece & care giver: Kelci Markland.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024 in the Richardson Cemetery, (Dry Branch Road). With the Rev. Willie Campbell and Rev. Eric Sams officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
