Inez Grindstaff (1928-2025)

Inez Grindstaff, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and shining light to her family, passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 97. She was born on April 21, 1928, the daughter of Rev. E.L. Lewis and Etta Lewis.

Inez cultivated a life rich in love for her family and the simple joys of nature and reading. She had a special affection for her birds, particularly her beloved hummingbirds, and found great comfort and engagement in her Audible books.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Grindstaff, and her children, Yevette Grindstaff and George W. Grindstaff III.

Inez's memory will be cherished by her loving daughters, Yolanda Hardin, Lois Shoun, and Nicolette Grindstaff and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her life was also brightened by the companionship of her beloved pets: her Pomeranian trio, Kiki, Vida, and Mela, and her granddogs, Bandit and Zorro.

Inez Grindstaff's love and light will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
