Henry Potter, 75, Roan Mountain, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at his residence. He was born September 27, 1949 in Roan Mountain to the late Murphy & Delia Brewer Potter. Henry was retired from the Sanitation Department of Beech Mountain, North Carolina. He loved hunting, fishing, trading things, and going to flea markets. In Addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Karla Potter, One Brother: Gord Potter, and four sisters: Mary Evelyn Odom, Joyce Odom, Ruby Mathes and Wilma Buckley.

Survivors include a sister: Kathy (Frank) Hamby, a brother: Ronald Lee (Debbie) Potter and a special friend Chine. Five Step-Sons also several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the Markland Cemetery, Roan Mountain with Pastor Geren Street officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Saturday.
