Helen Louise Earnhardt Grindstaff, 82, Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born October 20, 1942 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Clarence and Eleanor Medlin Earnhardt. She had lived most of her life in Carter County. Helen retired from Siemens in Johnson City. She loved her church, Lynn Valley Baptist Church, until her illness she sang in the choir. She loved Sewing, Gardening and Reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Grindstaff, a son: Robert Eugene Grindstaff and a sister: Mary Elizabeth Couick.

Survivors include a Daughter: Selena (Johnny) Norris and a son: Michael (Georgina) Browder, Six Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild. One Sister: Clarene Evelyn Earnhardt. Her special friends: Jean Watrous. and Lynn Kimmel A Service to Celebrate the life of Helen Grindstaff will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tim Tapp officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Billie Fox and Kaitlyn Haney. Active Pallbearers will be Selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be her church family. The family would like to express a special thank you to the 3rd Floor Staff of Sycamore Shoals Hospital and the Staff of The Waters of Roan Highlands for the excellent care she received.
