Harold Dean Massengill, 71, Watauga, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born November 17, 1952 in Carter County. Harold was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. Harold had retired from Modern Forge after more than 30 years of service. His favorite hobbies was watching Old Westerns and old cars. He attended Willow Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father: Herbert Massengill.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years: Cathy Rasnick Massengill. His Mother: Frances Pearl Massengill. Two Sisters: Ruby Humphreys and Janice Greene (Jim) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
