Gregory Allen Owens, 61, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at his residence. He was born April 15, 1964, in Grundy, Virginia, but had lived most of his life in Carter County. He had been an employee of Snap-On-Tools for the past 22 years. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Tolbert & Letha Hale and his Step-Father; Ralph Hensley. He loved to go camping, fishing and gemstone mining.

Survivors include his Mother: Mable Marie Hensley. His Sisters: Angela Hensley Murray and husband Mac, Vicki Hensley Walker and husband Danny and Amy Morton and her friend Charlie Stout. His Nieces: Chelsea Scalf Kiser, Amber Morton, Chandra Morton and Millie Morton. His Nephews: Josh Scalf, Joe Holsclaw and Bodee Morton. Several great nieces and nephews also several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 Noon Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Ministers Mickey Neal and Anthony Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by the Neal Family. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Snap-On-Tools. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour at 12 noon.
