Gracie June Tolley Whitehead, 95, Hampton, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, March 23, 2026, at her home where she had lived since birth. She was born July 26, 1931. She was preceded in death by her mother: Dovie Stevens Tolley, her husband of 37 years, Floyd Whitehead, Three Sisters and Seven brothers. She loved gardening, sewing and most of all she loved taking care of everybody else. She was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church for all most 80 years.

Survivors include her daughter: Judy (Randy) Wilson, and Her Son :Pastor Gary (Tammy) Whitehead. Three Grandchildren: Noah (Elizabeth) Whitehead, Colleen (Josh) Huskins and Dillion Peters. Two Great Grandchildren: Jolene Sheets and Marylin Tipton. Several nieces and nephews.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Gracie will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dexter Brummitt and her son Pastor Gary Whitehead will deliver a eulogy. Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026 in the Brownlow Tolley Cemetery. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Thursday will be: Dillion Peters, Noah Whitehead, Tim Miller, Floyd Miller, Little Tim Miller and Josh Huskins. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Nephews and Her Church family. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home prior to the service.
