Glenna “Faye” Crosswhite

February 4, 1943 – July 6, 2026

Glenna “Faye” Crosswhite , Elizabethton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 6, 2026 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was welcomed into Heaven by her loving parents, Maggie and Coy Bowers, and her four brothers, Kermit, Willard, Eldridge, and Charles, who preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 63 years: Wade Crosswhite; her beloved sons, Chet and Johnny; her treasured grandchildren, Jona, Dakota, Amber, and Dustin; her great-grandchildren, Takoma, Tyson, and Maddux; her loving sisters, Fredia (Robert) and Marjorie; her brother, Carroll; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Her four legged furry friend “CoCo”.

Faye’s faith was the foundation of her life. As a young girl, she came to know the Lord while listening to her mother faithfully read the Bible—a moment that shaped the course of her life and began a lifelong walk of faith. She carried that love for God with her every day, allowing His grace to guide her words, her actions, and the way she loved others. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Faye brought joy to everyone she met. She loved deeply, gave selflessly, and touched countless lives with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and loving heart will forever be remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Although her presence will be deeply missed, her family finds peace and comfort in knowing she is rejoicing in the presence of her Savior. Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2026 in the Crosswhite Cemetery, Shady Valley with Brother Bill Crosswhite officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to her care givers and the Staff at Sycamore Shoals Hospital and the staff at ICU, Johnson City Medical Center.
