Nettie is survived by her two sons, Jamie Clark and his wife, Janice, and Mark Clark and his wife, Jennifer; her only granddaughter, Jamie Lee Phipps, whom she adored, and her husband, Wyatt; one surviving brother, Sam Hamilton of Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a special niece, Lisa Butler, and a very special friend, Shirlene Odom.
Nettie worked for many years in the cafeteria at Joe Ursary’s cafeteria in Erwin. She later worked at Johnson City Schools as a cook until her retirement. She was a dedicated member of Big Spring Church of Christ and had attended Friendship Free Will Baptist Church for the last five years with her family
