Ginnie Rebecca Morris, 54, passed away at Sycamore Shoals hospital after a long battle with Cancer surrounded by family and friends on 2/28/26

Born in Chattanooga she grew up here in Elizabethton where she touched so many lives. She became a Nail Technician owning her own salon Gliz & Glam. She loved her clients, who were family to her. She attended Calvary Baptist Church where her unwavering faith and love for the Lord were an inspiration to so many. It was more than a church, it was the rock that we have leaned on for years with unconditional love and overwhelming support. She watched our children grow into amazing adults and welcomed their extended families into our own with such joy. Her favorite things in life were her work and clients, her great friends and family, her cherished Grandchildren, and hosting family events so we could all spend time together. She was a perfect wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend to so many people. Everyone she knew she touched their life in amazing profound ways. She was a devout Christian and even in tough times never wavered in her Faith. Knowing she is at peace now, out of pain's reach with our cherished Heavenly Father is our greatest comfort in this tough time.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Bob Moore, and her father Roger Moore. She is survived by her husband Michael Morris, daughter Kayla Morris, son Justin Norris and his wife Alexis, son Brad Norris and his wife Kendra, her cherished grandchildren Knox and Nash Norris, her mother Diane Moore, and her best friends for decades Jenny Weir, Jamie Oliver, and Cindy James.

Celebration of life services will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 225 Holly Lane, Elizabethton at 3pm on Sunday March 8th following a private cremation. We are requesting if you have something pink to please wear it to help celebrate the amazing life she led. Receiving friends will immediately follow the service in the fellowship hall.
