Georgia Nell Turbyfield, 81, Butler, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital after an extended illness. She was a Carter County native and a daughter of the late G.L. & Lockie Pilk Turbyfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Lace, Homer and Dale Pilk and Doran Turbyfield and one sister: Eula Morrell. Several nephews including a special nephew: Gurney Pilk.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 12 Noon Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in the Lakeview Cemetery with the Rev. Nick Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.
