George Kenneth Williams, Jr., 65, Hampton passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born July 12, 1961 in Elizabethton. He was a 1979 graduate of Hampton High School and attended East Tennessee State University. In earlier years he was employed by the Carter County Rescue Squad, Sharps EMS and Security at Nuclear Fuel. He loved fishing, going to the beach, cars and boats. He was a member of Hampton Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his father: George Kenneth Williams, Sr. and a brother: Michael Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years: Michelle Curran Williams. His Son: Tyler Williams. His Mother: Retha Timbs Williams. Two Nephews : Dakota (Olivia) Williams and Peyton Williams. His two fur babies, Tiger and Jet.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Dwayne Calhoun, Minister officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Carter County Rescue Squad, Toby Guinn and Adam & Tonya Matherly.
