Jack Greer, 86, Elizabethton, went to be with his Lord Thursday, October 8, 2026 at the NHC Health Care, Johnson City. He was born June 25, 1940 in Mountain City to the late Harley & Mildred Reece Greer. He had lived most of his life in Carter County. Jack was a graduate of Unaka High School and attended Carson Newman College. He was a retired truck driver. He loved to read, and woodwork. He was a member of Hunter United Methodist Church. He was in Audio Broadcasting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Toni Merritt Greer who passed away October 28, 2007.

Survivors include his Daughters: Dawn Kilday and Lisa May both of Johnson City. Four Grandchildren: Heather May, Steven Lane, Linda Holsclaw and Amanda Culbertson. Six Great Grandchildren: Atlas, Dorian, Lilith, Breanna, Madison and Hailey. One Sister: Linda (Darrell) Holly.

There will be a private Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
