George Marvin Cook, 61, Roan Mountain, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was born November 20, 1963 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late Melvin J. & Norma Street Cook. He was a Construction Worker and Mechanic. He loved to fish and ride his Motorcycle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Betty Johnson.

Survivors include His Son: Brandon Cook, Three Brothers: Stokes (Carol) Cook, Robert (Heather) Cook and James Cook. Also several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025 in the Knight Cemetery, Roan Mountain. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
