Gary Wade Street, 62, Hampton, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born May 21, 1963 in Elizabethton. He loved to fish. Gary was preceded in death by his father Maynard "Bill" Street and a brother: Harvey "Joe" Street, and his grandparents: Harrison & Etter Street and Arthur & Essie Banner.

Survivors include his Mother: Janice Banner Street. Three Sisters: Debbie (Donnie) Pierce, Linda (James) Avery and Cathy (Rick) Heaton. One Niece: Shania Pierce, One Nephew: Joshua (Caley) Pierce. His special friends: Josh Brown, Renae Brown, Richard Arnett and his friends at The Waters of Roan Highland. Also his four legged friend  "Daisy".

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025 in the Walnut Mountain Cemetery with Pastor Tony Hoss officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of The Waters of Roan Highland and the Staff of the 4300 Wing, Johnson City Medical Center.
