Gary Wayne Dugger, 78, Roan Mountain, went to be with his Lord, Friday September 20, 2024 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1946 in Roan Mountain to the late Lemuel & Bessie Neva Miller Dugger. He was Owner-Operator of Dugger Construction for 25 years. His hobbies were hunting and fishing. He was a member of Lower Shell Creek Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Lusk and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife: Debbie Dugger. His Children: Dolly and Barry Murphy, Tabetha and Jimmy Lusk, and Gary & Elizabeth Dugger, Jr., Eddie Dugger, Wayne & Jessica Dugger and Jamie & Sarah Jones. 16 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Gary Wayne Dugger will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in the Lower Shell Creek Christian Church with Gerald Holly, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Music will be provided by Kim Church and Gerald & Gloria Holly. Active Pallbearers will be: Barry Murphy, Jamie Jones, Wayne Dugger, Gary Dugger, Jr., Jimmy Lusk and Jacob Lusk. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Steve Kliensmith, Dayton Hamby, Charlie Hicks, Randy Campbell, Johnny Ollis and Rudy Campbell. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Gentiva Hospice, his nurse Gracie Wade and his Minister Gerald Holly.
