I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Freida Kaye Potter  Peterson, 68, Kingsport, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, July 6, 2025 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1956 to the late Clay & Martha Frances Smith Potter. She was a Graduate of Hampton High School. She was retired from the BB&T, Kingsport Development as an Underwriter. She attended  Pleasant View Baptist Church, Kingsport. She loved to crochet and read. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Scott Peterson, a Step-Son: Matthew Peterson and a brother: Michael Potter.

Survivors include a son: Jason Conway. A Granddaughter: Ashlynn Peterson. One Brother: Pastor Mark Potter and wife Sandi. One Sister: Sabrina Harris & husband Jason. Several nieces and nephews.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Freida will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Morrell Cemetery, Bluff City. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Staff of Holston Valley Hospital and the Staff of Johnson City Medical Center.
