Freida Ann Bowling, 62, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born November 10, 1963 in Elizabethton to the late Frank & Tempie Morton Bowling. She was retired after working at NARC and TPI. In earlier years she enjoyed fishing, loved to ride her scooter and loved talking to people. She was a member of Johnson City Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Tyler Hurley, by two sisters: Wanda Burchfield and Kathy McInturff and two brothers: Charles Bowling and Bobby Bowling.

Survivors include her Children: Michael (Nicole) Tolley, Bryon Tolley and Leslie Tolley.  Five Grandchildren; Brooke Hurley, Taylor Hurley, Zoe Stanley, Macy Tolley and Hannah Tolley. Two Brothers: Dean (Judy) Bowling, and Terry (Cindy) Bowling and One Sister: Phyllis (Dorrell) Jarrett. Several nieces and nephews. Special Aunt & Uncle: Stanley & Jean Rice.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026 in the Lyons Cemetery with Pastor Troy Davis officiating. Music will by Joel Crisp. Active Pallbearers will be: Billy Hurley, Taylor Hurley, Travis Bowling, Ethan Shell, Dorrell Jarrett and Dean Bowling. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Hermitage Health Care for the excellent care she received.
