Frankie Clawson Flannery 88, passed away peacefully at her home on December 29, 2024

with family by her side. Mother to most, granny to the rest. Godly, nurturer, provider, loving and kind are just some

of the words to describe Frankie. She loved God and all her family above all else. Her life was not an easy life

but she persevered and with the help of her Lord and Savior always provided for her family. She would walk

miles to help someone if she thought they were in need. She was never boastful or prideful. A humble, precious

soul would best describe her. Granny as she was best known loved to sing for the Lord. She was a founding

member of Glorybound Trio and was a lifetime member of Long Hollow Missionary Baptist Church. She was a

Sunday school teacher and taught many years of Bible school. Although Frankie lived and raised her family

in Elizabethton, she returned to her childhood home in Poga, Tennessee to live out the remainder of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Hicks Clawson, father Finley Clawson,

Stepmother Virda Roark Clawson brother Marvin Clawson, son Bill Anderson, daughter, Jackie Wiseman,

nephew June Clawson and a special friend Vernon Vines.

Those left to cherish her memory: daughters, Judy Vines Crisp, (Joel) Amanda Perry (Travis) Son, Christopher

Flannery (Naomi) son in law Howell Wiseman. Sister: Fannie Jane Whaley Grandchildren: Sharon Wright (Chris)

A Celebration of life service will be Conducted at  1 p.m. Saturday, January 04, 2025 in Memorial Funeral Chapel With  Rev. Larry Pearsson officiating. Music will be conducted by Glenda Pounds.  Graveside Service  will Follow at Stines Cemetery with Chris Wright officiating. The Family will receive friends from 12-1 Saturday prior to the service.
