Ethan Kane Lusk, 27, Roan Mountain passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital as the results of an automobile accident. He was born March 19, 1996 in Carter County. Ethan was a graduate of Cloudland High School where he played on the football team. and attended East Tennessee State University and Tennessee Technology .He was employed at AY McDonald. Ethan was an avid UT and Colts  fan, loved football, computers, video games and loved playing games with his niece and nephew. He was a member of Lower Shell Creek Christian Church.

Survivors include his parents: Jimmy & Tabetha Jones Lusk, Roan Mountain. One Brother: Jacob Lusk, Ocala, Florida. His Honorary Brothers: Cody Clark, Caleb Harrison, Jared Julian and Jesse Hanson. His Paternal Grandparents: Pastor Michael & Anna Lusk, Jonesborough. His Maternal Grandparents: Gary & Debbie Dugger and Floyd Jones. Paternal Great Grandparents: Delaney & Betty Berry, Roan Mountain.His Niece, Illionna Lusk and Nephews  Ender Lusk and Nathan Lusk. His Uncles & Aunts: Jamie Jones & wife Sarah, Joshua Lusk & Wife Karen, Gabriel Lusk & wife Amber, Savanna Lusk and Lori Jones. His second moms, Dawn Hanson & his football moms

A Celebration of Life Service for Ethan Lusk will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the Lower Shell Creek Christian Church with his Grandfather Pastor Michael Lusk and Pastor Noah Blair officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Roan View Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Jacob Lusk, Caleb Harrison, Jared Julian, Cody Clark, Jesse Hanson, Noah Blair, Isaac Denton and Jamie Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be: past & Present Football Players and Coaches, Terry Denton, Caleb Denton, Xander Jones, Justin Fisher, Gabriel Lusk and Joshua Lusk,  The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
