Elwayne “Wayne” Williams, 88, born November 04, 1937 in Carter County died June 28, 2026 at Ivy Hall Nursing home after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Will and Ethel Williams. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by: William “Buddy” Williams, brother, Marie Richardson, sister, Lucian “Doc” Williams, brother, Charlotte “Trick” Williams, sister, Pansy Watts, sister, Sherrill “Bo” Williams, brother and McKenzie Grace Williams, granddaughter.

Elwayne was a master brick mason for 40 plus years. He was also a member of Caldwell Springs Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda Southerland Williams of 60 years and their sons: Perry Williams (Donna) and Travis Williams (Rachael). Also grandchildren: Autumn and Kerry Williams and Hannah and Carter Williams.

Elwayne was buried at Fairview Cemetery in Jonesborough, TN with Mr. Willie Lunceford, Minister, officiating.
