Elizabeth Guinn
February 7, 1978 – March 9, 2026
Elizabeth Guinn, 48, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on March 9, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, faith, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
A proud born-again Christian, Elizabeth was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Her life was defined by her fiery spirit and deeply caring heart; she was a woman of character who loved without reservation. Above all else, she loved to see her family as often as possible, cherishing every moment spent together. Whether she was spending time with her family, cheering passionately for the Tennessee Lady Vols, playing with her animals, or finding peace and community within her church family, Elizabeth lived with a vibrant energy that touched everyone who knew her.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving children: son Matthew Guy, daughter Kelsey Guy (husband Josh Berley), and daughter Caitlyn Trivette (husband Jake Trivette). She was the proud grandmother of her grandson, Noah Trivette. She is also survived by her sister, Melanie Guy (husband Todd Guy); the father of her children, Tony Guy; her brother, Jake Cooke; and her father, Danny Cooke.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Guinn, and her mother, Pamela Cooke.
Elizabeth's warmth and spirited nature will be deeply missed by her family, her church community in Butler, and all who were lucky enough to call her a friend.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with her father Pastor Danny Cooke officiating. Interment will follow in the Abe Trivette Cemetery, Butler.
Pallbearers: Todd Guy, Ben Guy, Jake Cooke, Jake Trivette, Josh Berley, Brian Hoilman, and Dan Campbell. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home prior to the service. Condolence may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
