Douglas Edward Greer, 38, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He was born February 2, 1987, in Johnson City. He graduated from Gateway Christian Home School. He loved to fish, swim and shoot pool. He was employed at Central Heat and Air. He was a member of Bramar Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister: Martha Pauline Greer, October 30, 2022, his paternal grandparents, Dan & Martha Belle Greer and his maternal grandparents: Luther & Ellen Lowe.

Survivors include Two Daughters: Emma and Gracie Greer and a son: Jackson Greer. His Parents: Daryl and Lois Lowe Greer. One Sister: Anna Lunsford and husband T.J. One Niece: McKinzie Lunsford, one nephew: Tyler Lunsford, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Two special friends: Ronnie Thornton and Zake Thornton.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dean Presnell officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Mike Presnell. Pallbearers will be: T.J. Lunsford, Jearamy Ward, Jeff Lunsford and Fred Julian.
