Douglas Johnny Garland, 73, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born December 19, 1950 in Carter County to the late Mike Garland, Jr. & Ethel Peters Garland. He was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. He was a Auto Mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half brother: Dennis Kite. He was a Christian Believer.

Survivors include Six Children: Donovon (Melinda) Garland and son, Benjamin Garland; Scott (Sara) Garland, and their children; Eli Garland and Cash Agee; Angie Garland and Children; Dustin Garland, the late Brittney Rankin and Heather Smith and children; Kenzlie Smith and Carter Smith ; Misty Garland, and children; Deseray, Dillan and Christopher, Johnny Ray Garland and Jaden Garland. Nine Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren. One Sister: Linda Garland.
