Dorothy Marie Robertson, 63, Roan Mountain, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at The Water of Roan Highlands. She was born October 20, 1961 in Crossnore, North Carolina to the late Charlie & Carrie Jarrett Gardner. She loved to watch birds, play her piano and sing gospel songs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Robertson, two brothers: Charles and Jimmy Reece Gardner, a niece Katie Gardner, a nephew: Daniel Paul McKinney and a great nephew: Gabriel Gardner.

Survivors include Two Sons: Ronnie Aaron Robertson and Justin Cody Robertson. Three Brothers: Terry Gardner and wife Tammy, J.C. Gardner and wife Millie and McKinley Gardner. Two Sisters: JoAnne  McKinney & husband Paul and Linda Ledford & husband Ray. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 in the Jarrett Cemetery, Roan Mountain with the Rev. Randy English officiating. Active Pallbearers will be: Ray Ledford, Little Ray Ledford, Buddy Ray Ledford and Wesley Davis. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of The Waters of Roan Highlands for the excellent care she received for over three years. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 2:50 p.m. Monday.
