Delores Ann Hobbs Springer, 87, Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 21, 1937 in Johnson City to her father the  late Arthur Hobbs and her mother: Lora Branum  Hobbs Ford. She was also preceded in death by her step-father: John Ford. She was retired from the Rowan County, North Carolina School System. She and her husband had lived in several places until they retired and come to Elizabethton. Delores was a member of Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Everett Pendelbury Springer, Jr. who passed away January 24, 2014, also a daughter: Donna McKinney and three brothers: Van Hobbs, Ronald Ford and Leroy Ford.

Survivors include her Children: Sandra Rivers and husband Charles, Chesterfield, South Carolina, Patricia Holshouser and husband Kenneth, Orlando, Florida, Timothy Springer and his companion, Tammy Wilhoit, Albemarle, North Carolina, Joe Springer, Salisbury, North Carolina aand Keith Springer and wife Amanda, Elizabethton. 50 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Two Sisters: Brenda Eagen, Indianapolis, Indiana and Nancy Gentz, Elizabethton. One Brother: Bobby Ford, of Indiana. Her special friend and sister-in-law: Mary Hobbs. Her four legged furry buddy "Sadie".

A Service to Celebrate the life of Delores will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Greg Largent officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be her friends and church family. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home prior to the service.
