Delana Enith "Enos" Rhymer, 58, Watauga, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Washington County on May 11, 1956 to Dwight E. and Norma Rhea Holtsclaw Rhymer. He was a Roofer. Mr. Rhymer attended the Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years: Nancy Johnson Rhymer. His children: Daniel Lewis, Kimberly Rhymer and Emily Rhymer of the home. His Sisters: Delores Glass, Knoxville, Sherry Perry and husband Roy, and Hazel Lane and husband Jesse all of Elizabethton, Wanda Cooper and Tammy Potter and husband Scotty all of Roan Mountain, Mary Jo Hopkins, Blountville, Dolly Delbert Smith, Gray and Phyllis Whitaker and husband Robert, Greeneville, Tenn. Several nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. Dean Presnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Captain Nelson Cemetery. Music will be provided by Patsy Johnson, Johnny Palmer and JoAnn Cannon. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Scotty Whitehead, Ricky Holtsclaw, J.D. Whitehead, Jr., Scott Potter and Gary Lyons. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
