Deirdre (Dede) McKinney, 60, Roan Mountain, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 in the Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Dede was born on July 23, 1964 in Elizabethton to Arnold (Ray) and Bobbie Miller McKinney. She was a graduate of Cloudland High School and attended Milligan College.

Survivors include her daughter: Morgan McKinney and one brother: Nick McKinney. A Nephew: Jacob McKinney and a niece: Hunter McKinney.

Dede's wishes were to be cremated. A private service will be at a later date. Those wishing to pay their respects, please do so on Memorial Funeral Chapel web-site.
