David Owen Feathers, 71, Bluff City, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Hospice House, Bristol. He was born December 12, 1954 in Johnson City to the late Owen Feathers and Willa Mae Norris Vines. He was a graduate of Sullivan East High School. He was employed for 43 years at Microporous, Piney Flats. He was a member of Zollicoffer Masonic Lodge # 444 and Bluff City Eastern Star # 414. He loved hunting. He was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church but attended FirstChristian Church, Bluff City.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Sandra Wolfe Feathers. Two Sons: David Allen (Courtney) Feathers and Dr. Jonathan Wayne (Melanie) Feathers. Six Grandchildren: Natali, Jon, Joshua, Neleh, Dorothy and J. W. Four Great Grandchildren: Toby, Rowan, Harlow and Eiley and two more on the way. One Brother: Roger Feathers, Two Sisters: Teresa Feathers and Carolyn (Keith) Bennett. Two Nephews and One Niece.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday. A Eastern Star Service by Bluff City Eastern Star will be begin at 6 p.m., following that a Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by his son Dr. Jonathan Wayne Feathers. Following that the Zollicoffer Masonic Lodge will have a service. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Morrell Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
