On June 3, Darlene Brooks, Elizabethton, left this life to join her brother Duane and other family in heaven.  She was born on January 28, 1964 in Wellsboro, PA. She was a kind and caring person, an excellent cook and baker, and she loved to share food with others. She is survived by her husband, David Brooks, and her mother, Anne Parker, both of Elizabethton, a brother, Terry Parker, of Tucson, AZ, as well as very caring aunts and uncles, Mary, Catherine, Paul (New York), Pauline, Patricia, and Susan (Pennsylvania), Steve (Florida), and numerous cousins.
