Danny Lee Brewer, 63, Johnson City, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 3, 1962 in Elizabethton to the late Doyle & Loretta Peeks Brewer. He was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. Danny was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation after 20 years of seervice. He loved sitting on the poarch, listen to Country Music and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years: Kathleen Buckley Brewer. Two Daughters: Mindy (Shaun) Malone and Becky Brewer. Two Stepsons: James Garland and Justin Garland. His Grandchildren: Lexis Malone, Michelle Malone, Carver Malone, Bentley Malone and Chloe Babb. One Great Grandchild:Aspin Malone. One Step-Granddaughter: Abigail Garland. His Aunts: Birtie Smithpeters, Dimple Brewer,and Virginia Lewis Blevins. Several Cousins. A special friend: Frank Hamby. Also, his four-legged furry buddy "Cujo".

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025 in the Markland Cemetery, Roan Mountain with Pastor Mike Stevens officiating. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Saturday will be: Timothy Timbs, Rick Timbs, Frank Hamby, Bobby Nichols, John Malone and Lesley Buckley. Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of Tennessee Department of Transportation, Bill Timbs, Steve Timbs, Danny Simmons, Mike Blevins, Jim Blevins, David Blevins, and Tim Blevins.
