Dallas Glen Carrier, 82, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at his residence. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Benfield & Medora Estep Carrier. He was a retired Carpenter. Dallas loved his church family, listen to gospel music and loved his neighbors on Dry Branch Road. He also loved to bird hunt. Dallas was a member of Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Dennis & Vaughn Carrier and one sister: Lennis Taylor.
Survivors include his wife of 53 ½ years: Irene Davis Carrier. One Sister: Cleta Mae "Chum" Lingerfelt, Four Brothers: Eugene (Teresa) Carrier, Ronnie, Joe and Benny Carrier. Several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023 in the Richardson Cemetery with the Rev. Eric Sams and Rev. Willie Campbell officiating. Music will be provided by Margaret Davis. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Saturday will be; Wayco Davis, Josh Estep, Gabe Taylor, Joseph Carrier, Joey Carrier and Maverick Estep. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Saturday. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com .
